Eeek!!! Halloween will be here in just a couple of days. Are you looking for some good Halloween treats to give out as party favors? Then you are in luck. Today I want to share with you a super easy treat for Halloween.
I call it White Chocolate Halloween Munch. It is a super easy recipe and makes plenty for all your guests.
First you will need to gather all your ingredients. Below is what I will be using for this batch. You can change it up and use whatever you and your family enjoy.
I measured out the following amounts and poured them into a large bowl and mixed them up.
4 – cups Kettle Corn (you could pop your own popcorn, I just like the kettle corn)
2 – cups Pretzel Sticks
1 – Bag Reese’s Pieces (you could use Halloween M&M’s if you like)
2 – cups Corn Chex
2 – cups Bugles
Next, I used a double boiler and poured both bags of white chocolate into the top of the double boiler.
You could also melt your chocolate in the microwave, but you have to be careful not to heat it too much and cook it. That is why I just use the double boiler method.
Once the chocolate has melted, pour it over the bowl of dry ingredients.
Then using a spoon or spatula, carefully mix the white chocolate so that all the ingredients are coated well.
It will be gooey and sticky.
Once you have it all mixed up, pour it out onto a cookie sheet and spread it out (I ended up using two sheets). Then allow it to cool completely.
I like to put mine in the refrigerator to cool. Plus it comes off the pan easier once it has cooled in the refrigerator. You can also use wax paper to pour it onto if you want.
After it has cooled, you can break it into pieces and store it in an airtight container or you can portion it out into treat bags or boxes. I found these cute boxes at the dollar store and just used sandwich bags and twist ties.
These would make great treats to give out to the kids (and adults too!!) at your halloween parties and get togethers.
What treats do you like to make for your guests?
